Family Giving at VHE
The Annual Family Giving Campaign is Virginia-Highland Elementary’s most important fundraiser of the year. It’s a simple and flexible way for families to directly support their child’s education by funding essential programs like STEM, arts, teacher grants, and community events.
This year, we’re focused on increasing family participation. Last year, we had 40% of families participate and we're shooting for 60% this year. Every gift makes a difference, and every family counts, no matter the amount!
Ways to Give and Exclusive Perks
Donation Perks
All families who give will receive a gift of appreciation, with additional perks for higher levels of support. We recommend a starting donation of $250 per student, but EVERY gift is appreciated and makes a difference!
Fun Raffles
New this year - all donors will receive thank-you perks AND be entered into raffles for exciting local prizes. Some prizes will be tied to giving levels to keep things interesting! Raffle winners will be drawn at the end of the campaign.

- Helps fund everything outside of personnel, allowing Principal Harness to dedicate APS funds to hiring staff and maintaining smaller class sizes
