Family Giving at VHE
The Annual Family Giving Campaign is Virginia-Highland Elementary’s most important fundraiser of the year. It’s a simple and flexible way for families to directly support their child’s education by funding essential programs like STEM, arts, teacher grants, and community events.

Why Donate?
- 100% of your tax-deductible donation stays with VHE and directly supports our students and school programs
- Helps fund everything outside of personnel, allowing Principal Harness to dedicate APS funds to hiring staff and maintaining smaller class sizes
- Provides grants and supplies so teachers have the resources they need to do their best work and feel valued
- Supports STEAM programs, teacher grants, school events, and initiatives that build a strong community
How to give
- Prefer to pay by check? Make checks payable to Virginia-Highland Elementary PTO. Please email fundraising@virginiahighlandelementary.com when you drop your check at the front office or put it in the mail, so we can track your gift and make sure you receive the donor perks you've earned.
- Does your employer match charitable donations? In the past, VHE PTO has received matching donations from companies like Delta, Truist, Coca-Cola, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce and many others. Check with your HR team to double your impact! In order to have a company match counted toward your donor perk level, please email fundraising@virginiahighlandelementary.com with proof that you submitted your match request.
